Lauren, Justin and Sophia Sommer

On Friday I had the pleasure to photograph two week old Sophia and her parents Lauren and Justin. What a cute baby, so tiny and so delicate and so totally gorgeous. She even looked great in my arms and hey may be one day I will have another one of that size again too. ( a boy would be cool)
The shoot was done at their home and if you think Lauren and Justin look familiar they are the bride and groom in the water on the wall in my studio and on my web site.
Congrats again guys it was so much fun to photograph your little bundle of joy.

QVB Tea Rooms

The Queen Victoria tea rooms is one of Sydney's premier wedding reception venues. Known for its elegance and charm it captures a time when I think things were a little bit more romantic. What I like personally is the Art deco atmosphere with the high ceilings and wonderful furnishings and the fact that all the staff and every one associated with the venue are just so friendly and yet so professional.

Reanna and Ric'c Valentines Day wedding.

Juanita and I had a fun day photographing Reanna and Ric’s Valentines Day wedding even though it rained for most of the day.
To their credit the Bride and Groom never let the weather bother them one bit and considering it was such a contrast to the 40 degree days we have been having their enthusiasm and enjoyment of the day was never in question.
Reanna looked amazing and Ric was just as handsome, they both as they said together in the speeches compliment each other so well and all their friends in the bridal party were just so friendly and cool, there was even a tiger.
Ric and Reanna were married at St Peters Channel church in Hunters Hill and then had the beautiful reception at the Queen Victoria tea rooms which is one of Sydney’s finer venues where their every whim was catered for.

Bridal Expo.

We met some fantastic couple’s last week end at the Australian Bridal expo that are planning their weddings for either later this year or 2010. Juanita and I had a fun two days discussing plans and photo options and opportunities with all these eager and excited brides. We made some good business and even confirmed a few dates on the stand but the hylite for me was having one of our fantastic couples who we photographed last year Penny and Ari help us on Sunday afternoon. Penny was fantastic explaining her true life bridal experiences with Taylor –made and she was such a success we are getting her back for the April expo in Darling Harbour. Thanks guys it was a lot of fun to have you on board with us.

New Web Site live NOW!!!

We have a fantastic new web site to start the year with. It was designed by our good friends at Milk digital and I feel it really conveys the personal and individual direction Taylor-made Photography is now heading towards. It is a great window to our business and we believe it will bring us lots of weddings in 2009.

Alice and Jon's wedding

The wedding of Alice and Jon's was the first of the new year for us and it was a pleasure to photograph this great couple. We had so much fun working with them and I was able to capture some beautiful images.
Some of my favorites are of them in the Limo and I love the one of Alice under veil, it is going to be on our display wall soon.
Alice looked amazing on her wedding day and her ErvIn Woo dress suited her so well, stylish is a word that so comes to mind.
Their ceremony was held on the grounds of Curzon Hall in Marsfield where they also dined elegantly with 250 of their closest friends and family.
It felt so fantastic to start the year on such a positive note with a collection of so many brilliant images and it certainly sets the tone for a very creative and enjoyable year.
The kids in the first two pics were picnicking with their families under the Harbour Bridge where we we photographing and they wanted so much to have a photo with the bride and groom we got them involved and I think they will remember that little moment for some time, they had so much fun.
