Jayson and Carla's wedding

Carla and Jayson's wedding was a fantastic event from start to finish and Juanita and i had a great time capturing all their special moments. Carla looked truly amazing and beautiful and Jayson was of course very handsome. Jayson was page boy at our good friend Sandra's wedding over ten years ago and she sent a lovely email that read; "Hey Darren, great photos as usual, I know Jayson and Carla are going to have a hard time choosing them. We had a ball, your funny and wonderful nature always helps make the day lots of fun. Thanks again and I am glad that you are there to capture our special moments, it has been over 12 years of them".
I thought the sentiment in that message was wonderful and it is great to feel appreciated.
It was a real privilege to photograph these two lovely and very much in love people and I cant wait to show them the rest of the pictures.

Phary and Nick's Wedding

Phary and Nick's wedding was a true celebration of love and the joining of two distinctly different cultures. Nick has a Greek back ground and Phary's heritage is Cambodian with the wedding setting being truly Australian on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour.
Phary looked beautiful and Nick handsome and together they make such a wonderful couple. It was lots of fun shooting their wedding because they are such a relaxed couple and their friends and family are so familiar because of all the weddings I have shot in their circle. It was so nice catching up with every one.

Baby Sydney

Today I photographed a very cute baby named Sydney.
She is so cute and expressive and playful. It was a lot fun taking these pictures.

Marc and Mel pre wedding shoot

Marc and Melissa are having their wedding on a Friday, Friday functions are becoming a popular alternative for couples who are not keen on waiting years for a Saturday. I like Friday weddings because people seem more intent on a good time, they have had the day off work and weddings are a good way to start off the weekend.
