Jo and Evan

Saturday was the start of Jo and Evan's excellent wedding adventure. The relaxed and personal civil ceremony was held at the registry office with five of Evan and Jo's closest friends. It was a a lovely quite and often humorous event and a great lead in to the Italian adventure we will be photographing two weeks. Jo and Evan are also having an Italian wedding with guests jetting in from Australia, the UK and Hong Kong on the 21st of May which I will also be photographing with help from my good good friend martin. This symbolic and romantic ceremony and reception will be held at a 14th century castle just a 20 minutes from Florence in the Tuscan Hills.
Evan and Jo were all smiles and looked so gorgeous together and I must say I am looking forward to seeing Jo in her wedding dress in Italy because if she can look as great as she did in her elegant blue number then she is going to look amazing in her wedding dress.

Lisa and Ben's Wedding

It is always exciting to be able to photograph in locations that are a little out of the ordinary. Lisa and Ben exchanged their vows in the Naval Chapel on Garden Island and my good friend Pippin was on hand to capture all the special moments. They were then given access to the grounds of the naval base and found some really interesting backdrops to photograph Lisa and Ben. Even with the gorgeous view and exciting surrounding location, it really was all about Ben, Lisa and their families.

Lisa and Eric's wedding

Lisa and Eric's wedding was a fun filled experience from start to finish, Lisa looked so beautiful and Eric had commented during his speech how star struck he was when she walked down the isle, he certainly was emotional. These guys both come from very loving and supportive families and we made some good friends. Everyone had a fun time and Eric's brother Frank certainly helped make every one feel happy and comfortable. The Bride and Groom were married in a church in Hunters Hill called Villa Maria and the reception was held at the Palais in Leichhardt.

Georgia and Andrew

I had a fun afternoon today photographing Georgia and Andrew in Balmain. Andrew had proposed to Georgia in Balmain and so we thought it appropriate to photograph their pre wedding shoot there.
They are getting married in October and today was a way for us to break the ice more and to get to know each other better before the big day. Pre wedding shoots are so important because they help so much for the wedding day, I find that the couples who to advantage of the pre shoot to be more relaxed and natural in front of the camera on the day of the wedding.

The Karam Family

We photographed Geraldine and Carl's wedding almost 4 and a half years ago and there are just as much in love today as they were then! It is so amazing when my clients come back as they start their families, to be able to create lasting memories and capture their joy is one of the perks of my job.
