Last year I was presented with a gold award for one of my wedding images. It was taken at Shaun and Miseon's wedding and features the band getting ready to perform their opening number. The image scored over 90 points and I was very excited to win this prize as well as the recognition that comes with it. Canon who sponsor the event present all the winning images in a travelling show case that tours the country and exposes the community to the very best photography that is currently produced in Australia. The exhibition is currently on show at the QVB and finishes up on the 9th of October. I was really stoked to find that I was in the company of only a hand full of photographers who specialize in weddings.
