Deb and Paul

Deb and Paul had a wonderful wedding in the Hunter Valley on Saturday and it was a true privilege to be involved with their celebrations. Deb looked beautiful and Paul was very handsome. His speech was a great mix of emotion and comedy, one of the best I had heard for a long time. They and the Bridal party were such troopers it was not a typical spring day in the Hunter but they never complained once about the wind chill factor during the photo shoot even as the girls started turning shades of purple. We always get great shots in the Hunter and Paul’s favorite image from the slideshow we presented at the reception was of him in the air clicking his heels and I must say he had some serious hang time happening. Paul and Deb have lots of really nice friends and family and many of them helped with the wedding preparations. The hall looked amazing and the food and wine were just fabulous. Have a fun and safe trip on your honeymoon and we will see you in a few weeks.

Helena and Nick

I had the great pleasure to photograph Helena and Nick on Saturday morning. Helena has the most stunning blue eyes, they are having a Greek wedding early next year and it should be a lot of fun wit plenty of photo opportunities. They will be having their ceremony towards the middle of the day at the Orthadox church in Redfern which leaves plenty of time to shoot a few different locations during the day. We have already made up a plan and t sounds exciting so I cannot wait. Helena and Nick are good friends with Amanda and George who's wedding I will shoot next March and Helena also works with our good friend Isabella the make up artist.

Josh and Annie

Josh and Annie are having their wedding at the Vibe Hotel in Rushcutters bay later in the year and today I shot their pre wedding session. I think these guys were a little nervous to begin with. Which is understandable not every one enjoys being in front of a camera but I managed to get them nice and relaxed and the natural photos just started to happen. I think they are naturals in front of the lens but I think they were not totally convinced. Their wedding should be a lot of fun as we will be shooting around St Stephans church in Newtown and then to McKell park.

Adrian,Marc and Krissy

Adrian, Marc and Krissy are doing something fantastic for their parents 25th wedding anniversary. A portrait of the three of them that their parents can cherish forever.
As with all kids of their generation they found us on the net and we met at the park to do some casual an relaxed portraits. They are wanting something in Black and White but incase the parents are tradional I also shot in colour. They were all very relaxed infront of the camera as most people are with me and the shoot was a lot of fun.

David and Krystal

We have been photographing for the Upston family for many years now and today it was David's turn. He is about to get married to Krystal later in the year and today Trudi shot there engagement session. David and Krystal booked their wedding with us over a year ago and had never met Trudi. They met in Petersham park for the session and this is just a small sample of the fun that took place. We are experimenting with a new software programme called lightroom for our post production so at the moment I am a bit clummsy with it but it seems to do a good joc.
