Shirley and Michael's Wedding 10th November 2007

Shirley and Michael had an intimate wedding at Observatory Hill with nine of their friends. Shirley looked amazing and Michael could not keep his eyes of her the whole day. Shirley had spent the week before the wedding cramming all her Uni assignments so she could really relax on her honeymoon with Michael in the Maldives. It was a perfect spring day after a week of rain and it flowed very smoothly from Michael’s calming few drinks at the Lord Nelson right through to the intimate dinner at the Observatory Hotel. Michael and Shirley chose the Observatory Hill location and the Hotel as a theme because Michael has a degree in Astro Physics. Also I have to make mention of his out there bow tie which looked awesome, it was such a great tie that it came out to meet you.

Dave and Krystal's wedding

As a boutique studio one of our important aims or goals is to build a lasting relationship with our customers through providing a unique experience, quality and creative photography as well as special customer service and I am proud to say that we as the TMP team do a wonderful job. The aim of course is to generate repeat business or word mouth and it is a great delight for us to turn up at a function with so many familiar faces as it was last Saturday at Krystal and Dave’s wedding. We have photographed the Upston clan for many years including weddings and their kids portraits! Dave couldn’t take his eyes off his beautiful bride the whole afternoon, from the moment she walked down the aisle on her father’s arm. They had the ceremony and the reception at the Crowne Plaza Norwest and I must say that I have never seen a room decorated as beautifully with so many interesting ideas. Having the ceremony and reception in the same place made it an easy day for Trudi and Juanita. The reception started with a Blast as the Bride and Groom kicked of the night dancing to “kick start my heart” from Motley crew and partied late into the night to the family's Rockabilly band.

Hui and Han's Wedding

It was great fun shooting Hui and Han’s wedding yesterday, we started shooting the portraits before the ceremony which seems to be more and more popular at Asian weddings. Seems the meeting the bride before the ceremony superstitions doesn’t apply to Chinese weddings plus they like to get a variety of good photos and they know the lack of light and being rushed can be a hindrance. Hui looked fabulous in her lovely back less gown; I hope it did not get to dirty during the photo shoot as she needs to wear it again in Malaysia for another wedding celebration with more of Han’s family and friends. We have worked extra hard today so they can take a DVD slideshow with them overseas and they will project the show at their second wedding event. Their ceremony and reception were held at the elegant Mandalay venue which has been popular for Brides and Grooms for many years in fact I shot my second or third wedding here.

Sam and Ben's Wedding

The Centennial is a beautiful winery and function centre in Bowral where Samantha and Ben celebrated their nuptials on Saturday. Both Sam and Ben live in Wollongong and are a really lovely couple with great friends and family. Ben had four best men in the Bridal party, sometimes it is hard to make choices with mates and Ben mentioned during his speech that he could have chosen another 20 from the guests. He even mentioned me in his speech and his sentiment was very much appreciated. Sam looked amazing, her wedding dress so suited her style and she looked so elegant. She was a real trooper too tramping through the wet and muddy vineyards just to get some great shots for me.
